A/N: I haven’t research about the age differences. By the way, I make a paradise school which hardly existed in the reality. I just used the character and created story based on the Come to Play show which Super Junior and Wonder Girls came as guests.
Chapter 1
A noisy group of senior boys dressed on their school uniforms, sitting in a circle nearby the field where cards were thrown on the floor and they were busy competing with each other. Their faces were flushed seemingly like they were celebrating and winning some prizes. A celebration that includes screaming, jumping and soaring.
“Yah! I told you I can win this. It’s completely easy!” exclaimed the first guy, amused.
“Arghh, you’re just over exaggerating it, Leeteuk!” shouted the second guy who could not seemed to accept his own defeat.
“What?” His lips pursed in annoyance. “I know you’re jealous of me, Donghae. By the way, I’m always leading no matter what~” Leeteuk mocked.
“No one leads here. See—” showing the cards up front with the other, “it’s a win-win situation. So we’re tied up.” Donghae tried to explain.
Leeteuk wasn’t satisfied and acted like he is ignoring the conversation. He thought the other guy was just being stubborn whose pride could not be taken off. “I’m not listening~”
“Come on, guys. It’s just a game. Why the fight?” interrupted the third guy. His tone sounded serious but he said it in a chuckling manner. Trying to pick it was funny, seeing them putting into a silly argument.
“Shut up!” Leeteuk and Donghae both yelled at the same time. The third guy stayed away from saying more.
Only one person wasn’t involved in this silly game that they are having. The fourth guy pushed his glasses back to the bridge of his nose, silently reading his book under the tree without putting a single intention towards his noisy friends. He thought it wasn’t necessary because he had better things to do besides lazing around with lousy hobby they always did.
The third guy watched both of his friends bickering about the earlier games and he felt restless on his seat.
The fourth guy noticed this, and he began to speak. “Heechul, leave them alone. They will stop when they are tired already.”
Heechul put a sigh on his face. “I know. But Kyuhyun... Sometimes it’s stupid to fight over small things like this. What are they— a bunch of primary school kids?” Heechul shook his head, still chuckling.
Taking over the conversation, Kyuhyun refrained from reading and closed the book on his laps. He got up straight and walked to his two friends. Heechul watched him leave in surprise.
Khyuhyun kneed on his knees and his eyes fell upon the laying cards on the floor. Somehow his brain automatically switched in tune.
“Well, if you watch carefully it’s only a novice play. Take out the jack, and hide all the aces, you will win King Royal Flush.” Kyuhyun nicely arranged the cards in order.
With that said, Leeteuk and Donghae looked at each other and returned to Kyuhyun in the middle. There was silence around the atmosphere. The two of them were looking awed with their mouth kept open at the solving. Heechul seemed impressed too.
“Er—err Kyuhyun, no need to say it. Alright, I agree that I lost.” Leeteuk sounded worried.
“Yeah, it’s only a game. No heartbreak taken.” Donghae bit his lips nervously.
Then, someone was running towards them and shouting in high voices. He obviously wants to capture other people’s attentions.
“Ah, it’s Shindong.” Donghae palmed his face, gazetted his eyes away.
“Hey guys I’ve got big news!” Shindong sat down next to Leeteuk and muttered unconsciously searching for enough air to breathe.
“What is it?” Leeteuk asked, looking anticipating to know the story while the rest were patiently waiting.
“What do you know about Wonder Girls High School lately?” Shindong prompted a simple question.
Everyone was thinking hard to reply which took a long time but no one came in.
“Just spill the beans, will you?!” Donghae sounded impatient.
“Okay, okay. They will collaborate with our school to promote Boarding School Transfer Student Campaign. So they’ll transfer a group of girls to study at our school for one year. Last year, it was Science faculty. This year is our Art and Music faculty’s turn!” Shindong finally broke it off.
“Oh shit! We’ll have the girls in our dorm?” Heechul began to soar. He felt his heart leaped with extreme excitement.
“Unfortunately no...” Shindong’s voice lowered down to a disappointment. The heard news made Heechul discontent for he wished it to be otherwise.
“But— they’ll stay in a rented house around the neighbourhood. If I’m not mistaken, it is close to our school.” Shindong informed, grinning to his ears.
“What is this? It’s a boarding school. So they should be treated as a boarding school student!” Heechul responded unpleasantly at the news.
“Oh yeah? Because of a person like you, they are afraid to stay in our school!” Leeteuk suddenly teased with a chuckle escaped from his damn mouth.
“Wh-what?” Heechul turned to Leeteuk, giving him a hard look. “I have my best looks; by the way they should be thankful when having a person like me as a bodyguard.”
The prideful statement made Donghae laughed hysterically. “You know, with that attitude the girls might change their heart about you one day. Don’t be such a brag.”
With a sudden roar, Heechul threw back his head and began to laugh.
Meanwhile, Leeteuk just nodded in agreement. “As expected, his bad luck is coming one after another.” He remembered the other guy’s past with such attitude involving type of girls the boy wanted to date.
Heechul ruffled his golden hair, abruptly stopped laughing. “Hold on a second, are you serious?” said Heechul, staring at his two friends in astonishment.
Shindong was clueless about the sudden talk they had. He wasn’t there when the memory took place because he just came back from America last semester due to his father’s job there.
“Do you know the girls, Shindong?” Kyuhyun made a sudden progress.
“Wait! I didn’t know you’re interested on the girls too.” Heechul arched his eye brows but he was left ignored.
“I have their leader’s name only. She is called Sunye in short.” Shindong replied.
“Wow, nice name. I can’t wait to meet her.” Donghae dreamily tried to imagine the girl’s face.
Leeteuk tapped his friend’s head briskly. “You player! Since when are you being such a dominated guy?”
“I’m sorry but she’s mine.” Donghae jokingly said.
“As you wish! But I won’t be resting during this time.” Leeteuk came with a challenge.
Shindong saw Kyuhyun moved back to the nearby tree and opened his book again. He tailed behind; leaving his three friends kept fooling themselves about the topic he brought up just now.
“Kyuhyun, do you think I can meet someone and has her as my girl?” Shindong carefully asked, sitting next to him.
Kyuhyun leaned over his back against the tree’s trunk while his eyes still focussed on the reading, “It depends on who motivates you.”
“What do you mean?” Shindong creased his forehead. He wanted to know.
“When you meet someone and your heart flutters so badly, you’ll think of her and come into decision that she’ll be yours without any condition. It’s called a motivation.”
“Woahh Kyuhyun, how come you know a lot about love? Now I’m curious. You’ve never been seen with any girl.” Shindong showed his depth interest.
“That’s why something called ‘book’ exists in the world. I always read, that’s how I gain my knowledge.”
Shindong nodded, understood completely of the other guy saying. An immediate, unbelieving joy had coursed through him; simultaneously he’d thought that he would have preferred it if the girls would come sooner.
“Shindong, when will they come to our school?” called Leeteuk desperately.
“I was told the day after tomorrow.” Shindong roared back with a smug plastered on his face.
The rest of them jumped, bounced and screamed happily like mad people as Shindong rejoined them while Kyuhyun was looking poised and refined though behind the glint of his squared spectacles, his eyes shone obviously.
